EPA Director's Order
Ohio EPA Director Laurie Stevenson signed an executive order that will maintain public water service during the state of emergency. HB 197, which was just recently signed into law, authorized the Ohio EPA Director to issue such an order. As expected, the order would prohibit water disconnections during the state of emergency and require service reconnection to those customers who had their services terminated since the beginning of the year. To have service reinstated, a customer would need to request it with their water utility.
