FEMA - OHWARN Masks
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has provided the state of Ohio a limited supply of washable, cloth face masks that are available to all Water & Wastewater purveyors of Ohio. OHWARN, in conjunction with Ohio EPA, ORWA, and ORCAP is working to distribute the masks to Ohio Water and Wastewater utilities. Due to the limited number of masks available, distribution is to be allocated at a rate of FIVE (5) face masks per utility full-time employee (FTE) with a cap of 250 FTE. If you are interested in obtaining cloth face masks, OHWARN is asking that you fill out the request form at the following link.

Distribution of these cloth masks is on a first come/first serve basis as SUPPLIES ARE LIMITED. In order to secure your supply a timely response to this request is essential. Secondly, we request that each organization coordinate their response to ensure that only a single request is submitted per organization.
To be considered, you must fill this form out COMPLETELY and ACCURATELY so that we have all pertinent data and contact information. If you have multiple PWSID or NPDES numbers for service areas within your system, please provide only the number for your primary service area. Timely action in filling out this request will help place your utility near the top of the request list while also providing us with an indication of what the actual needs are here in Ohio.
In order to facilitate distribution of masks throughout the State, we have established primary Points of Distribution (PODs) (see below) which should allow for reasonable access to the masks for most utilities. When filling out your request form, please indicate your closest (or desired) POD so that requests may be forwarded to the appropriate location.
ORWA has offered to help with distribution and coordination with multiple utilities in instances where that fits within our capabilities and schedule.
If you would like ORWA to deliver your masks, please contact Tim Ballard at 937-607-9988.
You MUST bring a copy of the REQUEST FORM that you received by email to the distribution site to verify utility information and to ensure proper tracking of requests. You will be receiving a separate email with date and time of mask pickup.
Please note that there is NO GUARANTEE of mask availability for all utilities in our State through this program. At this time, it is recommended that you not cancel or reduce any previous orders or ongoing supply arrangements that you may have made with other sources.
Submit your request by clicking the SUBMIT button at the bottom of the request form.
