About ORWA
Ohio Rural Water Association is a 501 (c) 6 non-profit, member based organization that provides technical assistance, education, and support services to Ohio's small and rural water and wastewater utilities. Since 1979 we have been providing free and affordable assistance that aids water and wastewater utilities in their work to provide safe and affordable drinking water and wastewater services and maintain well functioning and sustainable operations. Combined, our system members provide water and/or wastewater services to over two million Ohioans.
Our Mission is to promote and advocate the wholesome supply of pure water and the efficient and effective treatment of waste water for the benefit of the residents of this State; to promote educational and scientific endeavors which increase the quality and efficiency of treatment of water and waste water in this State; to promote a close relationship between such systems, government agencies and private institutions with common interests; and to promote the interests of these systems in any way possible.
