Ohio Rural Water takes an active role in communicating to State and Federal Legislators and their respective staff the unique challenges and constraints on Ohio's rural operators and advocates on their behalf.

We publish both State and National legislative updates to help keep Ohio's operators informed of changes that could affect them. 
 
We help raise money for NRWA's National Water PAC, which contributes to candidates who support the needs and concerns of rural water & wastewater utilities.

We also employee field technicians, made possible through grants from the USDA and the EPA, that assist Ohio's water & wastewater operators with operations & maintenance, treatment issues, compliance, loan applications, and more.

The Ohio Rural Water Association Circuit Riders spend over 1,000 hours annually visiting and working with hundreds of water & wastewater utilities throughout the state of Ohio.
