Annual Conference & Fall Expo
Each year ORWA holds two large events where members can meet other ORWA members, visit with vendors in the water and wastewater field and receive contact hours. The Annual Conference & Exposition is held in the spring each year and with membership, you receive a discount on registration. This event is for everyone from the Mayor to your operators at the plant. The Fall Operator Expo is held in the fall each year and focused mainly on the operators needing contact hours for their license renewals. Again, with membership, you will receive a discount on registration.
Quarterly Meetings
Members may attend our Quarterly Meetings free of charge. These meetings provide members with an opportunity to voice their needs and concerns. Just a couple examples of meeting places are Put-N-Bay, The Wild’s, Shawnee State Lodge, Deer Creek, Salt Fork State Park and the list goes on!

Lobbying
We employ one of Ohio’s best lobbyists to keep our members up-to-date on legislative affairs, and the latest news. Every year ORWA and its members successfully participate in shielding legislation which would adversely affect our members, and in passing legislation to aid our members.
Participation
Members travel to Washington DC with our board members to visit face to face with Ohio Senators and Representatives. During these meetings, we work continuously to push the rural water initiative and gather support from our leaders.
