Ohio Rural Water Training
The Ohio Rural Water Association is proud to bring quality training to Ohio's
water and wastewater professionals. Our focus is on providing classroom and hands-on training to increase effectiveness in a variety of processes.
ORWA has added building space to its home office in Zanesville to allow for training, meetings, and other events that focus on the needs of the rural water/wastewater professional. Our organization also schedules training throughout the state of Ohio to provide every region with an opportunity to access classes without a prohibitive amount of travel time.
Past classes and trainings have covered:
The majority of our training is approved for Ohio EPA CEUs (continuing education units) in either water, wastewater, or both. All credit hours earned in ORWA classes will be made accessible on the ORWA website as an OhioEPA auditable transcript.

- chemical feed and disinfection processes
- activated sludge management
- certification exam review
- well installation and selection
- tank and tower maintenance
- hydrant operations and maintenance
