Exciting News: New Location for the Fall Operators' Expo!

We’re thrilled to announce that the Fall Operators' Expo will now be held at the Cherry Valley Hotel in Newark, Ohio! Nestled among lush botanical gardens and gentle waterfalls, this stunning venue provides a serene and invigorating setting for our biggest training event of the year.
For two full days, rural water and wastewater operators from across Ohio will come together to:

Network & socialize with industry peers
Explore the latest products, services, and technologies from exhibitors
Earn EPA-approved Continuing Education credits through expert-led training
Enjoy a fun and engaging experience—all under one roof!

With over 50,000 square feet of versatile event space, Cherry Valley Hotel is the perfect place to connect, learn, and grow. Plus, attendees can look forward to comfortable accommodations, including plush king-sized beds and private patios or balconies, ensuring a restful stay.

Each year, our expo continues to break attendance records, bringing together more operators, exhibitors, and industry professionals than ever before. We are excited to host this event for Ohio’s rural water and wastewater community, and we’d love to have you join us.

Event Highlights

Annual Sportsmen's Outing
Monday, October 20th

The Fall Operators' Expo kicks off each year with our Annual Sportsman's Outing. Don't miss your chance to eat, learn, network, and have some fun with your industry peers. We play in teams, but scoring is individual; so it doesn't matter if you're a seasoned pro or it's your first time shooting - everyone is welcome and you're sure to have a great time!

Continuing Education Training
Tuesday & Wednesday, October 21 & 22nd

Two full days of 45 minute training sessions with 15 minute breaks between sessions, and a delicious lunch each day. All sessions are approved for both Water & Wastewater CEUs. We seek out and recruit knowledgeable and experienced presenters to provide useful and relevant information to help make Ohio operators more efficient and effective at providing high quality service to Ohioians.

Industry Specific Exhibition
Tuesday & Wednesday, October 21st & 22nd

With an abundance of space available at the Cherry Valley Conference Center we are able to accommodate all shapes and sizes of trucks, machinery, and equipment to showcase for attendees and knowledgeable industry professionals to help explain their functionality and capabilities. Ultimate Meter Challenge
Finals: Wednesday, October 22nd

This fun and exciting hands-on Challenge is FREE for Registered Attendees and the top three challengers all receive great awards! It's really entertaining to watch and gives participants the opportunity to test their mechanical prowess.

Every year at the Fall Operators' Expo, Ohio Rural Water Association is proud and humbled by the opportunity to honor one water and one wastewater operator with our Operator of the Year award. We know the blood, sweat, and tears that go into properly managing and maintaining high quality water and wastewater services. We believe all of Ohio's operators deserve recognition and this award represents a small token of our appreciation for what they do.
