Since 1976, Ohio Rural Water Association has been providing free on site technical assistance to Ohio's rural communities with water and wastewater systems. Nearly every day Ohio Rural Water Association's Field Technicians travel across the great State of Ohio to provide technical assistance and on-site training to the dedicated operators and staff at Ohio's rural water and wastewater systems. Together they help provide safe drinking water to millions of Ohioans, and protect our natural water ways.
ORWA's Field Technicians provide assistance with developing Source Water Protection Plans, Energy Efficiency Assessments, Smoke Testing, Leak Surveys, Valve Exercising techniques, and much much more.
Annual Conference & Exposition Each Year the Ohio Rural Water Association hosts an Annual Conference in an effort to bring Ohio’s rural water and wastewater professionals together in one place for networking, professional development, and fun!
This year's Conference and Exposition was held at the Embassy Suites in Dublin Ohio, and the Golf Outing that kicked it all off was held at the Safari Golf Club. The theme for the Conference was ORWA Proud Past & Present, and many of the presentations revolved around the idea of succession planning and system sustainability. The Exposition featured over 60 Exhibitors showcasing the latest technologies and services.
